Our emphasis on the Joy of Wine stems from the heritage of the Rombauer family.
Koerner's ancestors made wine in the famous Rheingau region in Germany and his great aunt,
Irma Rombauer was the renowned author of the book The Joy of Cooking-
one of the United States' most published cookbooks,having been in print continuously since 1936 with more than 18 million copies sold. Hence, the Rombauer family's winemaking philosophy- to create a wine that complements
the joy of good food as well as it complements the joy of good company.
